Why We Picked It
We like upright sweep sets because you don't have to bend down to use the dustpan, and both pieces store neatly in a corner. The rubber lip on the dustpan also helps pick up fine dust that a plain edge leaves behind.
Who It Could Work Well For
Kitchen and hard-floor sweeping in a home with limited storage space.
Pros
- Extendable broom adjusts to the user's height
- Rubber-lipped dustpan picks up fine debris
- Both pieces stand upright for compact storage
Things to Consider
- Best suited to hard floors and light debris, not heavy yard work
- Bristles wear out over time and the broom may need replacing
Organization Tips
- Tap the broom against the dustpan lip to clear caught hair and lint
- Store both pieces together in a corner or pantry so they're easy to find
